Nigeria’s table tennis star Quadri Aruna has helped Amiens STT secure a second straight victory in the French Pro B League.

Aruna delivered a strong performance as Amiens defeated Nantes TT 3-0 in their Week Two encounter on Tuesday.

The Nigerian recovered from losing the opening game 11-7 to Andre Silva, winning the next three games 11-5, 11-8 and 11-3.

South Korea’s Cho Seungmin then defeated Nigerian veteran Segun Toriola in straight games, before Joao Monteiro sealed the victory for Amiens.

The result keeps Amiens among the leading teams in the league after two rounds, as they continue their push for promotion to the French Pro A division.

Aruna and his teammates will face Compiégnois TT in their next match on October 23.
