MTN Nigeria has confirmed a network outage affecting customers in Lagos, Oyo, Rivers and Delta states, as well as the Federal Capital Territory. The telecommunications company announced the disruption on Thursday, October 8, 2026, saying some customers might experience difficulties accessing its services.

MTN apologised to affected customers and said its engineers were working to restore services as quickly as possible. However, the company did not disclose the cause of the outage or provide a specific timeline for when normal services would resume.
