The 11th edition of the Nigerian Entertainment Conference, NECLive, is set to focus on how Nigeria can turn its growing local audience into greater power for the creative industry.
The conference holds on November 12 at Alliance Française in Lagos, with the theme, “Home Advantage: Transforming Local Demand into Global Power.”
Organisers say the event will explore how Nigeria’s large domestic market can drive investment, increase creative ownership and strengthen the country’s global influence.
Discussions will also address challenges such as affordability, audience growth, monetisation and unequal access to opportunities across the entertainment sector.
NECLive founder, Ayeni Adekunle, says the focus is shifting from simply taking Nigerian creativity to the world to building stronger and more sustainable systems from the market at home.
The conference will bring together entertainment professionals, investors, brands, policymakers and emerging talents to discuss areas including intellectual property, financing, distribution and the export of Nigerian content.
Since its launch in 2013, NECLive has grown into a major platform for conversations, networking and policy discussions around Nigeria’s creative economy.
