Nigeria’s Falconets head coach, Moses Aduku, declared the team ready for the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup after they drew 1-1 with South Korea in their final warm-up match in Poland.

Mary Mamudu gave Nigeria the lead in the 29th minute, but South Korea equalised from the penalty spot in the 78th minute.

The result followed Nigeria’s 1-0 victory over Poland in their previous friendly, meaning the Falconets finished their two-match preparation with one win and one draw.

Aduku said there were no injury concerns in the squad and expressed confidence in his players ahead of their opening match.

The Falconets had been drawn in Group F alongside Spain, China and New Caledonia.

Nigeria was scheduled to face Spain in their opening game before taking on China on September 10 and New Caledonia on September 13.
